Persistent Sellers
Gah, it's so annoying when people trade you, you cancel, and they keep at it for 5-6 times. They should get the hint after 1 cancel. It's harassment :P Here's my suggestion..
If they attempt to trade you after 2 cancels, they can't attempt attempt another try for 5 minutes. If you want to trade them, you can establish the trade instead.
Either that, or strike them down with a fat lightnigh bolt at 3rd trade attempt :P

HELL YES!
It is extremely annoying when someone just comes up and randomly trades you 40 times, especially when they dont speak good English (no offense to anyone who doesnt speak good English) but seriously, once I cancel, they should get the point. Course, people who trade a lot, or show items to people could be hindered by this...

Or, what you could do is put a couple of gold pieces and hit accept. They'll probably leave you alone after that.

I think those are sellbots. Usually when I get that, the other player is completely silent and has a name like Sgfds Rkjrn or something.
Of course, I also got annoyed and did what Ryker suggested -- offered 1g for all their gold unids. They packed up in a hurry. :P

And I also dislike the people who beg for gold and just walk up to you with a trade window.

Even better; don't bother putting any money up.

An ignored player should not be able to trade with you.
That should be more than enough.

They DO that? I see people begging for gold, usually the last little bit for armor or 50g for storage, but nobody's had the nerve to actually open trade. Maybe because I'm usually the first person telling them that even in beginner areas it's not hard to farm that much money.

The only thing though is how often are the beggars actually looking for storage money or that last bit of cash for armor? I personally don't think it's that high.
And I love offering nothing when people open trade. Fastest way to get them off your back.

OT: Ignore list is only 10 people :P
And unlike Friends, it only ignore specific names, not other characters on same account. Or was this fixed?
Back to topic. Doing cancel twice should automatically block further trade attempts from same player for 5 minutes. That should be simple enough without having to fill ignore list with more people. I'm sure you all have better things to do

Then a 'temporary' ignore list should be added, one that gets emptied anytime you leave the outpost.
And a 'quick ignore' button like the 'trade' button, to add names to it.

A temporary ignore list with an insta-add button would have been gold, especially when you attempt to trade. You could more easily sort away the less interesting sellers/buyers from the trade spam. Next time you'd leave the outpost, list would be cleared automatically. Great idea, Mithran, you should post it so it doesn't get lost in this thread ;-) You'd have my vote.

I like that idea, a temp ignore! Constantly adding/removing guild spammers and things like that gets old as hell.
